With the opening of a retail store aside of an eCommerce platform comes often the time of the yearly inventory.
Stock levels between Retail and eCommerce systems not only have to be synchronized, they have to be accurate.

We created a back-end module which eases this tedious task and makes it a charm.

The back-end module is part of our VirtueMart GSE offering and allows the ease encoding of stock quantities.

Using an internet enabled iPhone, we were able to walk through the Retail Store and the eCommerce stock plants. While proceeding along the shelves, each items are counted and the number of items encoded in the system. This process could be done in parallel by multiple employees...

Once everyone finished counting the items he/she was in charge of, the system reconciliates each conuting.
We then compane the counted items with the current quantity in stock.
If they match, everything is fine ... if they don't match, the module offers you a convenient way to update the quantities in stock.

Should you forget to count some items of your stock, the module presents you with the list of uncounted items...
